Children's Classes: These classes are designed for more mature children and focus on the basics of Martial Arts, Kata and Defensive Techniques. Kyoshi Rocky Leavitt has over 30 years experience training youth in the Martial Arts, as well as having worked with youth in National Guard Challenge Programs in Missouri and Kentucky. Kyoshi Leavitt places heavy emphasis on respect, obedience of family, school, dojo and societal rules. Acceptable grades in Academics, as well as favorable parental reports are necessary to advance in rank.

Beginners Classes: Available to Teenagers offers advanced opportunities for youth, including weapons instruction, which are used as a training aid to enhance hand and eye coordination; age and gender appropriate advanced instruction in self defense intended to equip youth to help avoid the dangers lurking in today’s society; as well as invitations to Adult Seminars, and Camps. As always, Kyoshi Leavitt places heavy emphasis on respect, obedience of family, school, dojo and societal rules. Acceptable grades in Academics, as well as favorable parental reports are necessary to advance in rank. Kyoshi Leavitt does not condone underage drinking, drug use, foul language or any illegal life choice, and participation in such may be grounds for dismissal from the School.
